MEET WAYNE BOURQUE

Wayne was born in rural Northern Alberta, Canada from humble Métis beginnings. His father put him into boxing at the age of 13 after a spree of racial attacks and bullying. 

Wayne went on to become a 3 time North American Native Champion, 4 time Golden Glove Winner, Canadian National Champion, and Ringside World Masters Champion.

Wayne's olympic dreams were crushed in a major ski accident shortly after he was named as a contender for the 1984 games. After a couple years of struggling Wayne moved to Toronto, put his years of experience to use, and established his gym Centre Ring in 1994. He was the first person to bring boxing as an exercise into Canada.


MEET BRANDON BOURQUE

Brandon was raised in a boxing gym and is an extremely versatile coach. He is a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Doe, Boxing Ontario certified coach, and former varsity Lacrosse player for Trent University. With a speciality in conditioning customization, Brandon has helped thousands of clients sharpen their skills, while pushing their physical limits to new heights.

NO EQUIPMENT NEEDED BUT A BAG IS PERFECT! 

If you have access to a bag, thats ideal. You'll absolutely love the bag-work and hard rounds.  If not don't worry! You can achieve unbelievable results without a backstop for your punches. In the boxing world it's known as shadowboxing.
  • OPTIONAL ADDITION: You might want to consider a padded mat / yoga mat in order to make the abdominal training more comfortable
